On this page I will give you insight into my writing process leading up to my Narrative Project. I have included three of my favorite blogs as well, that help me prepare for this assignment.
For the Narrative Project, I will have to rewrite a moment in my life in a scene that If I would have made a different chose what would have the outcome be. This project made me think of the movie The Butterfly Effect. Making a little change in my life could affect my future in a big way. The good thing is, I will be authoring the outcome of my decision and adding symbolical meaning. That would consist of me pouring my heart out, jumping back to search for symbols that stand out and make meaning out of it. I did not know how I would bring out symbolical meaning in my story until I tried it in my blog, Bullet in the Brain . The funny thing is, practicing how to create a scene was harder for me, because all of the writing details that goes into one scene. I have wrote, delete, and revises my blogs The Yellow Wall-Paper,Composing a Present Scene, and Composing a Present Scene:Part Two; As I continue to learn how to write a scene properly. My past blogs have gave me a taste of this genre of writing and has prepared me for the first draft of Narrative Project. Starting on my second draft I struggled with how to begin and how would I change my decision. I have done a video Vlog also reflecting on my writing process up until this point. After getting into the flow of things I was able to see was an alternative out come if my decision was change. I was excite it about, I even read it to one of my good friends. She was like, " I like it, very descriptive. I think you should a story writer because it sounds like a real page out of a book." I thought it good to, but I had miss read some of the guild lines. I will be revising my second draft and that's were the third draft come into place.
